Ingredients

The spirits

  • 25 mlgin
  • 25 mlwhite rum
  • 25 mlvodka
  • 25 mltequila
  • 25 mlbrandy

To lengthen

  • 200 mlorange juice
  • 1 tablespoongrenadine

To serve

  • plenty of ice
  • a slice of orange
  • a cherry, optional

Directions

  1. Squeeze the oranges yourself if you can. Building the drink takes a minute.
  2. Fill a tall glass completely with ice.
  3. Pour all five spirits over the ice.
  4. Top the glass up with orange juice. Leave a small gap at the very top.
  5. Stir it gently with a long spoon. Do not stir it again after the grenadine goes in.
  6. Add a cherry on a stick if you have one.
  7. Serve it with a straw in the glass. Serving it is done immediately over fresh ice.
